At Wahoo Dance Academy, our dress code is designed to help dancers feel confident, focused, and prepared for class. Find everything you need to know about what to wear for each class below.
Here's what to wear
We believe dancers do their best when they look the same in class. When all dancers wear the same ‘uniform’, no student is distracted by what their fellow classmate is wearing. A unified dress code promotes focus, helps teachers ensure proper technique, and reflects the style and spirit of each dance class.
Class Specific SHoes
Important Notes:
- These specific styles are REQUIRED for recital and picture day.
- If you didn't order through Dancewares, DOUBLE-CHECK with us to ensure the shoe is correct.
- DO NOT purchase Pointe shoes unless approved by instructor to do so.
- Dancewares carries all required shoes (except hip hop shoes) and is a great option for picking up gear if you can’t make it to Open House.
- DO FORGET - Please label all of your dancer's shoes and belongings
